The Royal Danish Veterinary and Agricultural University was founded in 1858 and incorporated into the University of Copenhagen in January 2007. It has become the school of life sciences of the University of Copenhagen. It provides undergraduate and postgraduate professional courses, summer training courses and online courses. The teaching languages are Danish and English. It has the Department of basic animal and veterinary science, the Department of veterinary disease biology 11 departments including the Department of clinical science of small animals.
