The great Kaluga state agricultural college, a famous Russian Agricultural University, was founded in 1957. Its predecessor was the great Kaluga Institute of agronomy. It became more famous in 1994. It has colleges and departments such as the school of economics, the school of engineering, the school of animal husbandry technology and the school of agricultural ecology, providing undergraduate and master's education.
