University of Alabama

The University of Alabama is a comprehensive public university in the United States. It was founded in 1831 and is located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (Tuscaloosa, Al). The University ranks high in the fields of media science and public health, and the crimson tide football team of the university enjoys a high reputation in the United States. In the 2014 USNEWS comprehensive ranking of American universities, it ranks 86th in parallel with the school of environment and forestry of the State University of New York, the University of California at St. Cruz, the University of Colorado at Boulder and the University of Tulsa.
