Korean register of shipping (KRS, Kr for short) is a non-profit organization in Korea. It was founded in 1960 and headquartered in Busan. It joined the International Association of classification societies in 1988. It is mainly engaged in ship inspection, ship classification and other businesses, and has more than 60 branches and offices around the world.
