National Broadcasting Company (NBC) is one of the three traditional broadcasting companies in the United States (the other two are ABC and CBS respectively). It was founded in 1926 and headquartered in New York. NBC is the earliest and most powerful commercial broadcasting company in the United States. In 1985, NBC was acquired by General Electric company (GE) for us $6.2 billion.
