The Spanish foreign Corps (tercio de extranjeros) is a world-famous mercenary organization. It was founded in 1920 and has now been renamed La legi ó n. The foreign Corps once helped Franco's dictatorship, so it was hated by the Spanish people, but now the young Spanish people are proud to join the Corps.
