Piraeus bank group is the third largest private bank in Greece. It was listed on the Athens stock exchange and established in 1916. It was state-owned from 1975 to 1991. It was privatized in December 1991. Piraeus Bank ranks 502th among the Forbes Global 2000 enterprises in 2014.
