Hokuhoku financial group, the third largest local financial group in Japan, was established in 1877 and has a long history. Its predecessor was Kanazawa 12th National Bank. It is headquartered in Toyama city and its business includes three counties of hokuhoku (Toyama County, Ishikawa county and Fukui county) and Hokkaido region. It ranked 1557 among Forbes Global 2000 enterprises in 2014.
