Ecole de design is a higher technical institution approved by the French Ministry of education. It is also the only key design institution designated by the French Ministry of education and the only professional design institute certified by the Chinese Ministry of education. It is subordinate to the southern chamber of Commerce. It was established in 1988 and is located in the Loire region.
