Nippon sharyo, Ltd., a Japanese manufacturer of special vehicles, was founded in 1896 and headquartered in Nagoya. It mainly produces railway vehicles, engineering vehicles, bridges and sluice gates. It was acquired by Donghai passenger railway in 2008.
