Daiwa Securities Group, Inc., a famous financial group in Japan, was established in 1902. Its predecessor was Fujimoto brokerage company, which mainly engaged in comprehensive and international securities business. In 1983, Daiwa Securities entered China. In April 1999, it became the first listed company in Japan to establish a group holding system.
