North savor Institute of Technology (Savonia ammattikorkeakoulu), the largest Institute of technology in eastern Finland, was established in 1992 and certified by the Ministry of education of China. It has three sub campuses, located in kuobio, issalmi and valkos respectively. It mainly provides bachelor's degree courses, mainly including international marketing, international business management, information technology engineering, mechanical engineering and product technology.
