European Council

European Council (Council of Europe; also known as EU summit or EU summit) is the highest decision-making body of the EU. It was established in London on May 5, 1949. It mainly determines the general policies of the EU, especially foreign policy decisions. The European Council is composed of heads of state or government of EU Member States, the president of the European Council and the president of the European Commission.
