The Liberal Democratic Party (German: Freie demokratische partei; referred to as FDP) is a political party with a long history in Germany. It was established on December 11, 1948. From 1968 to 2001, the Liberal Democratic Party was referred to as f.d.p. and the current chairman is Philip rothler.
