Korea Nuclear Safety Institute

The Korea Institute of nuclear safety (kins) is a nuclear safety regulatory organization of the Korean government. It was established in 1990 and headquartered in Daejeon. It aims to protect the public and the environment from nuclear radiation generated by nuclear energy production or utilization, and realize the "global nuclear safety center" in 2020. It is mainly responsible for formulating and implementing the nuclear safety regulatory system.
