Washington Nationals is a team in the major league baseball of the United States, which belongs to the eastern region of the American League. It was founded in 1969 in Montreal, Canada. The team was called the Montreal Expo and changed to Washington Nationals in 2005. Now it is the National Stadium. Washington Nationals are the only two major league teams (the other is Seattle Mariners) the team that has never entered the world series is also the only one in the League of nations. The team has won the League of nations East championship twice.
