Kobe Animation Award (anime Kobe) is one of the three major index awards of Japanese animation (the other two are Tokyo Animation Award and Media Art Festival of the Department of Culture). It was sponsored by the Kobe animation Implementation Committee and first awarded in 1996. Its awards include best theater picture work, best TV animation work, best animation theme song, personal appreciation, etc.
