The South American Football Federation (confederaci ó n Sudamericana de F ú tbol, confebol) is the organization responsible for managing football affairs in South America. Founded in 1916, it is headquartered in Luke, Paraguay. The current chairman is figuerredo. Important football events organized by South American Football Federation include the Copa America. The level of all member countries of the South American Football Association is the most average among the six football associations. Except Venezuela, all other member countries have entered the World Cup finals.
