University of California, Davis (University of California - Davis), founded in 1905, is a public research university in the United States and the largest of the University of California. The University of California Davis is at the world advanced level in research and teaching in agriculture, environmental science and other fields. In the 2014 USNEWS comprehensive ranking of American universities, it ranks 39th with the University of California, San Diego.
