Banberg University (German: Otto Friedrich University ä t Bamberg, English: University of Bamberg) is a university with a long history in Germany. Its founding history can be traced back to Acadia ottoniana established in 1647. In 1972, it integrated educational institutions into "gesamthochschule" In 1988, it officially became Bamberg University.
