Clarks is the world's leading shoe manufacturer, It originated from the first pair of shoes of Clarks brand - "Brown bedelsburg", which was made by Cyrus Clark and James Clark brothers in Somerset County, southwest England, using the leftover corner material from carpet manufacturing in 1825 (brown Petersburg).
