Central University of Korea (CUHK / CUHK) is a famous private university in South Korea. It was founded on April 1, 1918. At present, the overall comprehensive competitiveness of Central University ranks 11th in South Korea (2015), of which the Department of journalism, the Department of drama, the Department of film and the Department of photography are the most famous, ranking first in the same professional disciplines of colleges and universities in Korea. Among them, the Department of drama and film and the cutting-edge image graduate school are the highest institutions of drama performance and film and television art research in Korea.
