Foreign radio and television of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRIB in English; Persian) سازمان صدا و سيمای جمهوری اسلامی ايران) It is the only radio and television media in Iran whose signal covers the whole country. It has an absolute leading position in the Iranian media industry and was established in 1938. IRIB broadcasting has 18 frequencies, of which 11 frequencies use Persian for internal broadcasting, and the other 7 external frequencies broadcast globally in 27 languages. IRIB website is available in Persian and English. In addition, IRIB also has its own newspapers and magazines.
