Star flyer (Japanese: スタフライヤー) is a famous low-cost airline in Japan. It was established in 2002 and was originally called Kobe airlines (Japanese: Shenkai Airlines Co., Ltd.); later, it moved to Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka County in 2003 and changed its current name; in 2007, it signed a flight code sharing agreement with Ana, that is, the two airlines implemented flight sharing between Tokyo International Airport and new Kitakyushu airport, which undoubtedly greatly increased the passenger capacity of the airline.
