The East African Community (abbreviation EAC), a regional international organization in East Africa, is composed of Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi. Its headquarters are located in Arusha, Tanzania, and the five East African community states have been merged into a unified federal state in 2015.
