Linsbid Automobile Company (Rinspeed) is a Swiss automobile company that started by importing American skylights and disabled vehicles. It was founded by founder Frank M. rinderknecht in Switzerland in 1977. It is famous for participating in the Geneva auto show with a Volkswagen Golf GTI modified with turbo for the first time in 1979. Its main models include chopster and presto. In 1981, lindsby exhibited a gull wing door golf; In 1982, he obtained the exclusive agency right of AMG Switzerland; In 1986, the company moved to Zurich; In 1988, he obtained the exclusive agency right of AC Schnitzer in Switzerland; In 1990, the company moved to zumikon and began to cooperate with Mercedes Benz and AMG.
