Deutsche Welle (German: Deutsche Welle; DW) is a German international radio station, television station and Internet website. It was established on May 3, 1953. It is a public media funded by the German government and one of the five major radio stations in the world (the other four are Netherlands Radio International, BBC, VOA and France Radio International).
