Cheongwadae / blue house is the official residence of the president of South Korea. It is named after its white wall and blue tile. Some people also call it the "Blue Palace". In 1968, cheongwadae was attacked by the North Korean Army (the cheongwadae incident). Cheongwadae is also one of the popular tourist attractions in South Korea.
