European Union (European Union; French: Union Europ é enne; German: Europ ä ischer Union; abbreviated as EU) is a highly influential regional integration organization integrating politics and economy. It was officially established on November 1, 1993 and headquartered in Brussel, Belgium. It has mainly experienced three stages - Dutch rupee three country economic Union and European community (European Common Market), European Union. In 2012, the EU won the Nobel Peace Prize.
