Hana Bank is the third largest commercial bank in South Korea and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the second largest financial group in South Korea - Hana financial group. It was established in July 1991 and headquartered in Seoul. The predecessor of its parent company, Hana financial group, was Korea investment finance, the first financial enterprise in South Korea founded in 1971. It was officially established in December 2005.
