GS Caltex Corporation is a large-scale oil refining enterprise, mainly producing lubricating oil. The company was founded in 1967 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. It was originally a joint venture established by LG Group and Caltex company of the United States. After the reorganization of LG Group, it was renamed GS Caltex. In the 2013 fortune Global 500 ranking, GS Caltex ranked 239.
