Mikimoto is a famous jewelry brand in Japan. It mainly designs and produces pearl jewelry. Its founder, Yuki Mikimoto, enjoys the reputation of "king of pearls". Mikimoto uses artificial pearls. In 1899, it opened the first Mikimoto pearl store in Tokyo. Up to now, it has more than 100 Mikimoto pearl stores all over the world.
