Groupe Radio France Internationale (Groupe RFI) is the only global broadcasting group in France and one of the five largest radio stations in the world (the other four are BBC, VOA, Deutsche Welle and Netherlands Radio International). It was established in 1986. Its predecessor is the French colonial radio established in 1931.
