Focus magazine is the third largest Newsweek in Germany and the strong enemy of Der Spiegel weekly. It was founded on January 18, 1993 by the famous German journalist Helmut markwort and Hubert Burda, the head of the German Hubert Burda media group. Its main readers are the social elite. The layout of the magazine mostly adopts color pictures and classic information charts, and its views are biased towards political conservatives and economic liberalism. In addition, the weekly also has Focus-money (started in March 2000) and focus - Schule (started in January 2005).
