The French Catholic University of Louvain is a Catholic University in Belgium. Its predecessor was the Catholic University of Louvain founded in 1425. It was split from the Catholic University of Louvain in 1968 (the other is the Dutch Catholic University of Louvain). It is located in new Louvain and is a member of the Coimbra group.
