Masraf al Rayan, a famous Qatari bank, is the driving force of investment banking and asset management in the Qatari investment bank and the whole Gulf Cooperation Council. It was founded in 2008 and headquartered in Doha. It is mainly composed of two departments: finance and real estate consulting and asset management. It ranks 1284 in the 2014 Forbes Global Enterprise 2000.
