The test of English as a foreign language (TOEFL) is an important standard for admission and scholarship application of world-famous universities and research institutes. It is divided into three types: PBT (paper test; 120 points), CBT (computer test; 300 points) and iBT (online test; 120 points). The validity of the test is two years (from the date of the test), sponsored by ETS. In September 2005, ETS launched a new TOEFL test worldwide, namely TOEFL iBT (Internet based test), which consists of four parts - reading, listening, speaking and writing.
