United Nations education Scientific and Cultural Organization United Nations Educational, scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations. It was founded in 1945 and headquartered in Paris. Its purpose is to promote international cooperation in UNESCO. UNESCO has opened six language websites, including Chinese official website, English official website, French official website and Spanish official website.
