The Philadelphia 76ers is a team in the Atlantic Division of the NBA Eastern League. It was founded in 1939 and moved to Philadelphia in 1963. It was renamed the Philadelphia 76ers, usually referred to as the 76ers. Its home is Wachovia Center Stadium. The team has won three championships and six league championships in history.
