The University of Calgary is a public research university in Canada. Founded in 1966, it is located in Calgary, Alberta. Its predecessor is the University of Alberta Calgary branch. The University of Calgary has 14 colleges, including the school of Arts, the school of law, the school of veterinary medicine and the school of environmental planning, with more than 100 majors and nearly 30000 students.
