Japan Football Association

The Japan Football Association (JFA) is the management organization of Japanese football. It was established in 1921 (the Greater Japan Cuqiu Association, changed to its current name in 1974). It joined FIFA in 1929, was removed from FIFA in 1945, and then rejoined in 1950. The JFA is responsible for managing the Japanese professional Football League a (J1 League), Japan League Cup, Japan Super Cup, Kirin Cup and other football events.
