The International Higher Education Institute of Social Sciences of the Netherlands Academy of Social Sciences (ISS) is also the only Social Research Institute in the Netherlands with the right to grant doctoral degrees. It was founded by Dutch universities in 1952 and is committed to studying the development process of social and economic change. It mainly provides master's and doctoral degree learning programs, as well as short-term diploma training and graduate diploma training courses.
