The World Wide Fund for nature (WWF) is a non-governmental international organization, founded in 1961, headquartered in Switzerland, formerly known as the World Wildlife Fund. Its logo is a giant panda. The purpose of WWF is to stop the accelerated deterioration of the earth's natural environment and create a world in which man and nature live in harmony.
