Brazil's o estadode S. Paulo is a Portuguese open daily published in Sao Paulo. It was founded by the Mesquita family in 1875, formerly known as the provincial newspaper of Sao Paulo. After the founding of the Republic of Brazil in 1889, it has a more solemn page and is known as "the gray giant of Brazil's newspaper" It is said that the weekday edition is between 28 and 48 editions, and the Sunday edition is more than 150 editions.
