Located in Yugang City Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul ufrgs of (Porto Alegre) is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in Brazil. The former school of chemistry and pharmacology was established in 1895, and later changed into a school of engineering. At the beginning of the 20th century, the school has begun to take shape and is the base of higher education in NANDA river state. It was established as the University of discovery port in 1934 and was in full operation in 1974 Upgraded to Federal University. The total number of students and professors in the University ranks first in Nandahe Prefecture.
