Queensland Performing Arts Centre is a statutory art institution in Australia and the most famous performing arts centre in the Asia Pacific region. It was established by the Queensland Government in accordance with the Queensland performing arts Trust Act 1977 and officially opened in 1985 to contribute to the development of cultural and social resources of the Queensland people.
